Morgan Advanced Materials Ltd. is a technology company with over 150 years of history, listed on the London Stock Exchange. It specializes in the production and development of technological materials (such as carbon, graphite, and ceramics) and products made from these materials (such as carbon brushes, pantographs, and power transmission systems) used across various industrial and transportation sectors, including automotive, power generation, and metal production. ,

The main responsibility of the role will be to:

• work with the Finance lead, ensures accounts are correctly stated and reported on a timely basis
• organize accounting records such as General Ledger accounts, accounts receivable, account payable
• post business transactions to banks
• prepare and reconcile payments
• manage receivables, including the cash collection tasks
• prepare sales tax report and generate tax/VAT returns
• respect internal control procedures
• manage the legal obligation of the country.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy in financial documents and compliance with financial policies.
• Analyze financial data, focusing on variances between actual and standard costs, and provide insightful reporting to assist in strategic decision-making.
• Oversee and ensure the integrity of inventory valuation and production cost analysis.
• Engage in budget preparation and forecasting, aiming to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.

• Undertake ad hoc projects as required
• Support the Finance lead
• Maintain effective working relationships with the Company’ stakeholders and external parties, including Audit Team
• Support with the company car fleet

• Completed bachelor in Accounting/Finance.
• Fluent in Hungarian, basic knowledge in English as a minimum.
• Min 3 Years of Accounting Experience in financial accounting
• Good Knowledge of the Hungarian accounting specificities (VAT, Social taxes, …)
• Confident in using MS Office programs, especially Outlook and Excel Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Proven time management skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
