Pozíció leírása / Job description

• Oversee and manage the local Accounting Team, including functional and disciplinary responsibilities.
• Prepare month-end close according to local & US GAAP (including accrual and inventory valuation), monthly management accounts, and annual statutory accounts compliant with local and US GAAP.
• Act as the primary contact for statutory auditors and facilitate the completion of statutory audits.
• Manage external reporting requirements (Central Statistical office, Excise, Green Tax, Environment Tax etc).
• Collaborate with the European tax team and external advisors to support the planning, filing, and control of tax declarations.
• Take responsibility for working capital management, including continuous measurement and analysis of DPO, DSO & DIO, and drive initiatives to optimize working capital.
• Maintain and develop efficient processes within General Ledger, Procure to Pay, and Customer Order to Cash Collection.
• Provide support for the European Transfer Pricing Guideline.
• Optimize existing ERP systems (NAV, One Stream).

Elvárások / Requirements

• Extensive experience in Accounting
• Experience in leading and developing a small team
• Strong Excel skills and experience with analytic tools like Power BI / One Stream
• Thorough understanding of Hungarian GAAP, US GAAP and/or IFRS
• Experience with ERP systems (CSB or NAV BC) preferred
• Accounting certification
• Analytical and solution-oriented
• Assertive and resilient
• Excellent written and spoken English and Hungarian 
• German language skill is an advantage
