Our multinational client is currently looking for a Spanish-speaking Accounting Supervisor to join their team in Budapest. The Accounting Supervisor oversees all accounting-related responsibilities for the assigned entities, such as:

Manage the month end, quarter end and year end closing under US GAAP

Responsible for US GAAP & statutory reporting and lead the annual statutory audit activities including reconciliation between US GAAP and local GAAP

Review with Corporate Tax on the local tax filing & declarations including corporate Income tax, VAT and all other applicable local tax

Coordinate the internal and external audit requests

Assist the tax team during audits and provide support to country management during government inspections

Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance matters and contract management

Collaborate closely with the country manager and leadership team, offering essential support for finance and accounting operations Elvárások / Requirements

University degree

7+ years finance/accounting leadership experience

Proficiency in US GAAP and local GAAP / statutory / regulatory reporting

fluent English and Spanish language

Strong computer/systems capability

Strong communication and networking skills

Consciousness of control and business ethics environment

Accounting & audit firm experience is a plus

Knowledge of local taxation is a plus
