Our client - a global player of its segment - provides comprehensive services in international freight forwarding (mainly air and ocean), contract logistics and supply chain management solutions. They service large and small companies across different sectors to improve and support their operations. To strengthen their Hungarian activities, we are looking for an experienced sales/business development leader familiar with international air and sea freight forwarding solutions. ,

• Achieve growth and mutually agreed sales/business development metrics and objectives by successfully managing the sales team
• Oversee the sales processes from start to finish (BD/KAM/Procurement/Pricing/Support)
• Achieve company objectives by thoroughly planning, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and making forecasts
• Manage and actively participate in approaching new potential and existing customers in international freight forwarding
• Generate qualified opportunities and leads
• Support and develop existing customer base and customer relations
• Work effectively with internal stakeholders and across other functions
• Attend industry-based trade shows and networking events as appropriate
• Maintain ongoing clear communications and reporting etc.

• Experience in air and/or ocean sales (procurement is an advantage)
• Team development and leadership experience
• Deep understanding of air and sea market dynamics and customer needs
• Excellent time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels - internally & externally
• Fluency in English and Hungarian
