Application Administrator  Job Description: Responsible for the planning, design, and execution of commissioning and operation for complex network systemsIdentifying and analyzing problems and initiating solution measuresProject planning and execution of commissioning and operationProblem identification and documentation using a trouble ticket system, even in complex system landscapesInitiating escalation procedures in critical problem casesServing as a technical contactRepresenting the Network Administration department in cross-functional solution teamsEvaluating and assessing new technologiesAdministering the deployed network and security systemsIntegrating new customers into existing operational processesProcessing/executing complex ordersInstalling and maintaining toolsDesigning and introducing support toolsParticipating in the development and planning of service conceptsCoordinating order processing  Qualifications: Master's or diploma degree with relevant professional experience or equivalent knowledge and skillsAt least five years of professional experience, with at least three years in IT administrationStrong customer-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking and behavior, even at the management levelProfessional, trustworthy, and empathetic demeanor at the management levelExcellent systematic and structured work styleStrong analytical and conceptual thinking skillsHigh flexibility, resilience, and willingness to performStrong and broad technical understandingExpert knowledge in the desired task area, as well as good knowledge of adjacent technologiesProficient in using the MS Office suiteStrong cooperation, teamwork, and conflict management skillsExcellent English language skillsStrong knowledge of Cisco FW systems such as ASA and FirepowerStrong knowledge of various network topologies (Ethernet, WLAN, etc. )Strong knowledge of network protocols TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and MPLSStrong knowledge of Cisco IOS/ACIGood knowledge of services such as Multicast, DHCP, DNS, NAT, Tacas, and RadiusStrong knowledge of network infrastructuresGood experience in working in project teamsGood experience working in cross-team working groups and task forcesGood German skills
