An international, global leading medical device manufacturer is looking for experienced colleagues for its new start-up location  in Dunakeszi

The Assembly Shop Production Section Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the assembly shop, ensuring efficient production, quality standards, and safety compliance. This role focuses on managing staff, optimizing processes, and meeting production goals in collaboration with other departments.

 

• Manage assembly shop staff, including supervisors, technicians, and operators.
• Ensure daily production performance goals are met, deliver process improvements, and address any issues.
• Monitor production metrics (KPIs) such as output, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve production efficiency.
• Work with engineering, quality and procurement teams to troubleshoot production issues and introduce new processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc. ) to enhance production flow.
• Maintain production documentation and records, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Ensure all assembly shop activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with the supply chain department to ensure materials and components are available for uninterrupted production.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on production performance and any issues.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English and Hungarian.
• Proven experience in assembly or production line management is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
