Tesco operates in Hungary since 1995 and its head office is located in Budaörs. The company has built the country's biggest retail chain by running more than 200 stores all over Hungary.

More than 800 colleagues work together in our head office in Budaörs. We cooperate in 3 countries structure with the Czech and Slovakian teams on a daily basis to offer the best to our customers.

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT

I manage large scale, complex programs of work to deliver transformational change and benefits to the business.

• Setting up the CE Business plan programme and projects with associated governance forums whilst following the "How We Do Change at Tesco" methodology.
• Engaging key stakeholders within and outside of governance forums and communicating the progress
• Delivering the programme outcomes, as indicated in the programme brief/ business case, whilst managing trade-offs across the whole programme or interlinked projects
• Building programmes, setting up the programme for success, designing roadmap, and writing briefs and business cases
• Defining relevant enablers for the programme delivery
• Sourcing and flexing resources across the programme and against programme budget to meet priorities
• Establishing clear direction, accountabilities and deliverable expectations for the programme leadership team (incl. - Programme Management Office and interlinked Project Managers)
• Tracking benefits, reporting on KPIs and milestones, managing change logs, using and logging lessons learned, managing cross programme interdependencies, risks and escalating issues to get clear direction and decision from stakeholders
• Developing and leading a high performing team, giving them the opportunities to be their best.
• Forecasting and managing my budgets effectively, always being cost conscious.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• University education
• Upper-intermediate proficiency of English language (B2)
• Professional experience of 5-6 years
• Experience in large corporate financial budgeting and planning processes.
• Programme (or complex project) management experience 
• Stakeholder management
• Planning and organising
• Communication skills
• Programme/project management methodology
• Financial Acumen
• Microsoft Office
