Pozíció leírása:

Work out a balanced production schedule on a weekly/running quarter basis to meet on-time delivery targets

Communicate and make arrangements with impacted departments to ensure uninterrupted production

Control materials and resources on the shop floor and at the supplier to ensure effective and continuous production

Collaborate with the sourcing department in controlling purchased material arrivals

Support inventory management

Initiate and drive improvement actions of the production control and planning-related processes using lean and 6sigma tools

Interfacing with other planner-buyers, purchasing services (OSP) from external suppliers in order to schedule receipt of material to meet production demand

Provide a forecast for suppliers based on site-specific and global demand

Manage and facilitate daily/weekly conference calls with suppliers

Supporting inventory management

Track & drive cycle time reduction with the supplier

Cooperate & support SCL & SQEs

Cooperate & support global sourcing upon request

Elvárások:

Business or Technical University or College degree.

Strong planning and/or inventory control and/or sourcing background

1-3 years of demonstrated experience in sourcing/logistics and/or production planning, preferably in metal / heavy industry,

Implementation of continuous improvement and quality improvement efforts.

Familiarity with Oracle or any integrated systems,

Proficiency in MS Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Project and Excel.
