Category Manager - Direct materials
We are looking for our new
Category Manager for Direct Materials scope
to join our dynamic Procurement Team!
If you want to build or rebuild processes / structures, create category strategies and your goal is to be a strategic partner to the Downstream division business and not just an executor, then MOL is your place!
Our new Category Manager colleague will be:
Responsible for area of specialty chemicals and additives.
Responsible for development and implementation of category strategies for assigned categories.
Responsible for achievement of defined objectives and KPIs including delivery of savings targets.
Accountable for decision making on category level supplier awarding for contracting based on value limits.
Responsible for creation and maintenance of annual procurement plan; mid and long-term planning for a category group in alignment with business partners. Contributes to consolidated procurement planning across categories within DS division.
Responsible for monitoring market developments, innovations and technology trends and for applying them to strategy and implementation work.
Contributes to sourcing process, participates in evaluation committees; supports negotiations based on value limits and priority.
Responsible for Supplier Relationship Management related activities, including driving supplier segmentation.
Responsible for setting up and performing KPI based supplier evaluation and development, managing relationships with strategic suppliers.
Contributes to long lead items assessment, demand planning and execution, market analysis, supplier selection, claim management. Join us, if you:
Have University (MA/MSc) / College (BA/BSc) degree in the field of Economics / Engineering / Law
Already gained 5+ years of experience in Procurement and/or Category Management
Are usually described as a great negotiator and an excellent team player
Have result-oriented and 'Ownership’ mindset’
Have user level ERP system (SAP preferred) MS OFFICE, and E-Commerce tools knowledge
Speak English and Hungarian fluently
Are you ready to travel occassionally to get to know personally the colleagues working in subsidiaries and stakeholders
