Cost Engineer
Cost Estimation Engineer
Responsibilities:
Develop cost estimates for new products
Collaborate with the design and production teams to gather necessary information
Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and reports
Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the product development process
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements
Communicate with suppliers to obtain cost data and negotiate prices
Support the financial planning and budgeting process
Requirements:
Higher education in engineering or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in cost estimation or a similar role
Proficient in English or German (German preferred)
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Experience with cost estimation software and tools
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
