• Develop cost estimates for new products
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to gather necessary information
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and reports
• Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the product development process
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements
• Communicate with suppliers to obtain cost data and negotiate prices
• Support the financial planning and budgeting process

• Higher education in engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cost estimation or a similar role
• Proficient in English or German (German preferred)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Experience with cost estimation software and tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
