About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic Customs Data process Specialist to join our Procurement team.  ,

• Responsible for monthly and quarterly statistics of enterprise import data, archiving and making reports
• Archiving of monthly company import and export data;
• Monthly import and export data statistics, generating monthly/quarterly import and export situation reports;
• Quarterly CBAM declaration work;
• EPR data statistics, and assisting in financial declaration processing；
• Report system usage and improvement suggestions to colleagues in charge of the customs system according to the work content.

• Bachelor degree or above;
• Able to use English as the main working and communication language;Candidates with a proficiency in Chinese will be given preference.
• Candidates with customs clearance experience are preferred;
• Have an understanding of customs affairs, understand the customs clearance process and document requirements of the EU or other contries customs; and be able to identify the customs declaration form of the EU (e. g. Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, the Netherlands, etc. ), and understand the information meaning corresponding to each field.
• Have good time planning and coordination ability;
• Proficient in using office software (Excel, Powerpoint) and company internal customs systems, and those with experience in operating the SAP system are preferred.
• Understand the concept of Customs HScode classification, have experience in import and export declaration in manufacturing, and have experience in processing trade is preferred.

• Familiarity with global trade documentation and regulatory frameworks beyond the EU, particularly if the company operates internationally;
• Proficiency with advanced Excel functions (e. g. , pivot tables, macros) and data analysis to streamline reporting processes;
• Experience with customs management or financial reporting software, ideally SAP or similar ERP systems;
