Customs Leader
Customs Operation Expert
We are seeking a skilled Customs Operation Expert to join our team in Gyál. This role involves leading daily customs operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and managing a team of customs professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee daily customs clearance activities.
- Evaluate and develop the performance of team members.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and implement changes as needed.
- Monitor and verify customs duties and payments, coordinating with accounting.
- Collaborate with internal programs to manage export-import tasks and prioritize needs.
- Actively participate in audits and represent the company in front of customs authorities.
- Provide business support for projects and represent the customs department.
- Develop and implement corrective actions and action plans.
- Prepare KPI reports, statistics, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements:
- Higher education degree and advanced customs qualification.
- 8-10 years of experience in customs operations, including supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in English at a negotiation level.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office).
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- High-level leadership and organizational skills.
