The Defence Innovation Research Institute of Hungary is a 100% state-owned company under the ownership of the Hungarian Ministry of Defence. The purpose of the Company is the development, management and coordination of dual-use products related to defence developments and the defence industry in accordance with the interests of the Hungarian Ministry of Defence in order to ensure that the personnel of the Hungarian Defence Forces are equipped with domestically developed and manufactured equipment as much as possible. ,

• Collect, analyse, sanitize and interpret large datasets to derive insights on technological advancements and trends affecting the defence landscape
• Utilize coding skills to develop custom tools and models, automating data gathering and analysis
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects, integrating data from various sources to support comprehensive trend analysis
• Present data findings through reports, visualizations, and dashboards that facilitate strategic understanding

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field; additional experience in defence or technology analytics is preferred
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data analysis and tool development
• Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical analysis tools and machine learning techniques
• Ability to convey complex data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders
