About the Role
We are looking to hire an experienced and passionate Medior Data Software Engineer to join Digital Factory. The new team member will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure necessary for storing and processing large volumes of data. The Data Software Engineer will work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure that the data is organized and accessible for analysis. Responsibility will also include ensuring that the data is secure, and that the infrastructure is scalable to meet the needs of the organization as it grows
Main Responsibilities
Design and build Data pipelines to move and transform data.
Develop and maintain data storage systems, such as databases and data warehouses.
Ensure Data quality and security.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide access to the data they require.
Develop and maintain ETL (extract, transform, load) processes.
Optimize data infrastructure for performance and scalability.
About Your Experience and Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or similar project involvement.
Experience
3+ years of domain experience
Professional and Technical Competencies
Experience with data storage technologies, such as SQL and NoSQL databases.
Proficiency in SQL for complex data querying, optimization, and database administration tasks in relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Understanding of ETL processes and Data Warehousing concepts.
Strong programming skills, particularly in languages such as Python and Java.
Expertise in designing scalable and secure database systems capable of handling large volumes of data.
Development of complex ETL processes to transform and unify data from various sources for analysis.
Implementation of automated data pipelines to improve data flow efficiency.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Big Data Technologies.
Proficiency in Data Integration Tools.
Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Practical experience generating process documentation and reports.
Professional usage of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.

Main Recruitment Steps
Initial call: You will be contacted by MOL Recruitment via phone for a short chat.
Interview: You can expect two or a maximum of three interview rounds, where you can meet your direct manager, some experts from the team, ask your questions and present your skills and career path. We always make sure you receive timely feedback after each round.
Technical Assessment: You will either receive a take-home assignment after the first interview or be asked to solve an exercise on the spot at one of the interviews.
