About the Role
We are looking to hire an experienced and passionate Digital Program Manager to join Digital Factory. The Digital Program Manager is part of our digital engineering team who is responsible for the advancement of digital businesses and their supporting technologies and contribution towards key business decisions on both a functional and technical level.
The Digital Program Manager leads (digital) improvement initiatives across the organization, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of various projects. This role oversees methodologies, financial (cost) management, and provides strategic direction to a team of Project Managers and Scrum Masters, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Digital Program Manager optimizes digital operations, drives continuous improvements, and manages cost efficiencies while ensuring improvement projects meet their budgetary requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Lead and manage digital improvement projects using a blend of PRINCE2, Agile, and PMI methodologies to ensure delivery on time, within scope, and budget.
Provide line management for Project Managers and Scrum Masters within the PMO framework.
Own and lead the definition and the continuous improvement of Digital Factory’s Way of Working and Operating model and its related processes. Ensure they are being followed, and squads meet timeline targets.
Develop and oversee cost management strategies and processes, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals.
Implement and manage resource allocation strategies, ensuring squads have the necessary resources to meet objectives effectively.
Lead professional preparation for key Digital Factory events, including QBR and PI planning, coordinating effectively to optimize resource allocation for the upcoming quarter.
Own the cost management process ensuring deep understanding and transparency of costs of Digital Factory squads and projects.
Oversee the integration of digital technologies into company processes, optimizing workflows and delivering measurable results.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align with project goals, KPIs, and performance metrics.
About Your Experience and Skills
Education
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Certified in PMI PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Hold Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe) or have equivalent practical experience.
Additional certifications in Lean Six Sigma or digital transformation are a plus.
Experience
10+ years of experience in project or program management, with at least 4 years in a digital environment.
Successfully managed teams of Project Managers and Scrum Masters, driving team performance and ensuring project delivery.
Directed and executed large-scale digital projects, ensuring financial oversight and consistently achieving budgetary goals.
Delivered impactful digital improvement solutions, leading cross-functional teams to accomplish successful transformation initiatives.
Professional competencies
Professional expertise in both Waterfall methodologies (PRINCE2, PMI) and Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
Skilled in cost management and budgeting, particularly in the context of digital transformation projects.
Comprehensive understanding of digital product lifecycles, project roadmaps, and change management processes.
Experienced in mentoring and leading project teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Expertise in managing stakeholder expectations and fostering clear, effective communication across teams and departments.
Ability to resolve conflicts and make data driven decisions to manage program budget, risks and issues.
Proficient in analyzing and optimizing digital processes to enhance performance and allocate resources effectively.
Skilled in using project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and Trello for tracking progress and resource management.
Familiarity with digital platforms, frameworks such as Salesforce, cloud technologies, and web applications.
Professional use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
