• Ensure the onboarding of suppliers
• Drive ongoing supplier panel optimization and continuous improvement at plant level
• Price follow-up, make sure the prices are up-to-date
• Build up supplier strategy in locally managed commodities
• Prepare and lead negotiations, ensuring contracts with locally managed suppliers
• Monitor supplier’s performance (capacity – cost – delivery – quality) and take part in suppliers development programs
• Maintain and lead material savings projects and support technical changes
• Support Quality and Supply Chain teams in the plant in case of escalation process
• Act with integrity and full respect of business ethics

Our Partner, a market leader Automotive Supplier in the Area of Miskolc is looking for an Direct Buyer who will be responsible for the following tasks: 

• Master/Bachelor’s Degree in economics / business or engineering 
• Proficient in English is a must, 2nd language is always desirable
• Effectively using MS Office tools to improve daily work
• A good understanding of automotive industry
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in negotiations and contractual agreements
• Capability to work in teams within international environment
• Results orientation, analytical thinking, problem solving capability
