Our partner is looking for a Direct Commodity Manager with purchasing experience and English language skills. The company offers people-oriented management, supportive team and colleagues and flexible home office opportunity after the training period.

Developing and defining direct sourcing strategies and targets for specific categories

Collecting market, procurement and technology data

Developing optimisation and supplier strategies, prepare and implement implementation plans

Cost analysis and review of contract terms and conditions, supplier benchmarking

Supporting regional sourcing strategies and promote localisation approaches

Conducting procurement negotiations

Securing framework contracts and legal conditions

Developing cost reduction and value enhancement initiatives

Ensuring compliance with regulations and sustainability guidelines

Managing, reviewing and evaluating supplier relationships Elvárások / Requirements

Bsc degree in engineering or economics

Minimum 5 years of experience in direct procurement category management

Experience in procurement negotiation, tendering, indirect procurement strategy development

Knowledge of Office and SAP

Confident and fluent English language skills

German language skills would be an advantage
