Thanks to the increasing demand for high-quality compliance services, Tax Desk has rapidly grown to a team of over 40 professionals specializing in tax compliance and technology.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Finance Controller/Manager to join our team in Hungary on a full-time basis, contributing to the effective oversight and management of our financial and operational metrics. , As our Engineering Lead, you will:

✅ Own and lead core workstreams focused on compliance systems, document handling, communications, reporting, and more

✅ Build and lead a high-performing team that delivers technology-driven efficiencies

✅ Align technology decisions with our architectural vision while ensuring practical, high-quality implementation

✅ Collaborate closely with our Client Portal Engineering Lead to integrate solutions across the business and into our client portal

✅ Drive hands-on development using our Microsoft technology stack (Azure, 365, , Power Automate, SharePoint and more) and No-Code/Low-Code Cloud solutions.

✅ Explore AI & automation (CoPilot and beyond) to enhance productivity and innovation,

• A visionary yet hands-on leader with the ability to balance strategy and execution
• Strong background in software engineering, solution architecture, and business systems integration
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
• Ability to juggle multiple workstreams and drive projects to completion within ambitious timelines
• Experience in leading teams and managing technology initiatives in a fast-moving environment
• Ideally experience in. NET Core C#, EF Core, React Standard (FE), NodeJS but not essential.
• A proactive problem-solver who understands business needs and can translate them into scalable technical solutions
