We seek for an experienced

Engineering Manager

to act as a Technical Authority (GTA) for Surface Facilities Engineering, providing expertise and assurance across MOL Group’s E&P business. The role involves driving functional excellence, ensuring proper Front-End Loading for project schemes, and offering engineering recommendations for brown-field projects focused on production optimization and HSE/technical integrity.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

Serve as the internal expert and guardian of Surface Facilities Engineering.

Deliver onshore and offshore projects safely, on time, within budget, and in line with MOL Group's policies.

Lead Front-End Loading efforts in Field Development Planning to select optimal development concepts.

Drive Production Excellence by supporting hydrocarbon production and applying debottlenecking techniques.

Identify and propose innovative, cost-saving technologies to enhance project economics and reduce UTC.

Ensure compliance with approved standards and procedures.

Conduct assurance activities, including peer reviews and peer assists throughout Field Development Phases.

Share best practices and quality control systems across MOL Group.

Ensure adequate resourcing, leadership, and succession planning within the engineering team.

Provide technical and commercial support to the business development and M&A teams.

Mentor junior staff and support their professional development.

Manage the engineering organization with a focus on sustainable solutions and customer satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with legal and company rules, including HSE, Data Protection, and Ethics.

Requirements:

International Cooperation: Collaborate with Operating Companies, MOL Group Flagship, Contractors, and MOL JV Partners across diverse locations.

Education: University degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering and chartered engineer accreditation (or equivalent).

Technical Skills: Recognized as an authoritative expert in engineering across upstream, midstream, and downstream oil & gas, familiar with industry, regional, and international standards.

Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proactive, flexible attitude and the ability to work in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environments; excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Experience: Minimum 15 years in onshore and offshore projects, with a solid understanding of the Stage Gate Process, commercial impact assessment, and HSSE principles.

Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in Hungarian or Russian is advantageous.

Challenges: Lead a dynamic engineering team, ensure technical quality performance, and manage project activities across diverse global sites (e. g. , Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Croatia, Russia, UK).
