E&P FINANCIAL VALUATION ANALYST position!
Scope of the position:
Perform asset- and portfolio-level economic evaluation tasks regarding MOL Group’s organic Exploration & Production (E&P) business by developing and maintaining sophisticated DCF models. Inform and support decision-making through value-adding analysis based on project and portfolio economics. Contribute to financial modelling process and methodology development, and provide analytical support to the capital allocation, commercial and business development activities of the division.
Main Tasks
Develop, maintain and deploy sophisticated DCF models to assess project economics as part of the internal decision-making process regarding the E&P division’s international assets and low carbon businesses
Contribute to the annual business planning cycle with asset-, country- and portfolio-level financial modelling
Perform year-end reserves evaluation and financial impairment testing of international E&P assets by preparing financial models
Develop, maintain and operate tools necessary for Group portfolio evaluation
Monitor, standardize and enhance the economic evaluation process, including the related tools and methodologies
Support commercial negotiations and business development activities
Requirements:
University or college degree in Economics (preferably in Finance)
Sound MS Excel skills
Outstanding numerical abilities
Critical thinking, attention to detail, accuracy
Proactivity, ability to work independently
Fluency in business English
