Finance Compliance and Audit Expert (German-speaking)
Your new company
Our partner is a newly established Finance Service Center providing support for a multinational company. As an Internal Control and Audit Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving finance compliance standards. Your main focus will be on designing and implementing the Internal Control System for accounting processes. You will be the main contact for both internal and external audits, working closely with stakeholders like CFOs, local management, accounting and internal control specialists. Your work will help ensure high compliance and drive improvements in the organisation.
Your new role
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of the Internal Control System to ensure compliance with regulations
- Work with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes
- Develop and implement standards and procedures to improve compliance and efficiency in accounting processes
- Provide support and advice to local management, accountants and Internal Control specialists
- Conduct regular quality reviews and present results to senior management
What you'll need to succeed
- Fluent in German and English
- 3–5 years of experience in auditing or Internal Control Systems (ICS)
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience at a Big-4 audit company is an advantage
