,We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Specialist to join our team in Budapest. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing financial activities, including tax compliance, budgeting, reporting, and analysis, for our global organization. This position requires a strong understanding of Hungarian financial regulations and fluency in both Hungarian and English. The Finance Specialist will report directly to the CFO and Finance Manager at SK C&C USA Inc. , ensuring alignment with the company's overall financial strategy and global compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with local regulations and global company standards.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax filings, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory returns according to Hungarian tax regulations.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Provide variance analysis and actionable insights.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee and manage all accounts payable and receivable transactions. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
- Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide requested documentation and support the audit process.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and ensure compliance with company and local regulations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, both locally and globally, to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
- Minimum of 3 years of finance and tax experience in Hungary, with a solid understanding of local tax regulations.
- Prior experience working in a global or multinational company is strongly preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both Hungarian and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a plus
- Prior experience working in a global or multinational company is strongly preferred.
