Description:

With a strong international presence in many countries and a workforce of approximately 15, 000 employees globally, they operate multiple sites, including a financial service center supporting various European locations, such as the DACH region.

Responsibilities:

As part of the financial division, you will lead and develop a large team of finance professionals responsible for accounting tasks related to German-speaking manufacturing units.

Your key duties will include:

Taking on leadership responsibilities as a Team Leader,

Preparing financial statements and reports,

Overseeing supplier invoice processing, payments, and account reconciliation,

Managing customer accounts, posting payments, and handling account reconciliation,

Supporting monthly and annual closing activities,

Conducting financial analysis and preparing ad-hoc reports for management,

Ensuring consistency between general ledger and analytical records,

Accounting for bank transactions and accruals,

Collaborating with other departments in English or German language.

Requirements:

University degree in Finance or Accounting,

Certified Public Accountant qualification,

Several years of relevant experience in a similar role,

People management experience,

Fluent English or German language knowledge,

Strong IT skills, especially in Excel,

Advantage: IFRS knowledge.
