Financial analyst
As a financial analyst, you'll be the one to see behind the numbers and help the company make informed business decisions. By analysing macro- and microeconomic factors and examining the company's financial metrics, you'll forecast industry trends, business opportunities and risks. Your job isn't just about interpreting past data - you'll provide direction for the future to keep the company one step ahead of the competition.
- Cost analysis and reporting: project cost review and analysis, margin analysis, direct cost analysis, inventory valuation.
- Orders and backlog: review and report backlog on a monthly basis.
- Monthly reconciliations: balance sheet and profit and loss (P&L) reconciliation according to US GAAP and local accounting rules.
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with the company's accounting policies, legal and local financial regulations
- Support in the preparation of annual financial statements.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (e. g. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc. ).
- Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX regulations.
- Experience with structured ERP systems (e. g. Oracle, SAP) and consolidated reporting systems.
- Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in a relevant field and 5-7 years of relevant work experience
- Fluency in English and Hungarian
- Manufacturing experience is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access is an advantage.
