French/German speaking Senior Accounting & Reporting Accountant

Our multinational client is looking for a Senior Accounting & Reporting Accountant for their team.

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with minimum 5-7 years of accounting experience, and excellent English and French or German knowledge.

Your tasks will be as a Senior Accounting & Reporting Accountant:

Ensure accurate and timely monthly accounting, closing, and internal reporting.

Handle statutory and tax filings for smaller entities in the region.

Plan and complete statutory audits, liaising with external auditors and accounting providers.

Maintain reconciliations between USGAAP and local GAAP.

Apply financial expertise to regulatory reporting and document conclusions.

Propose process improvements proactively.

Support corporate income tax audits.

Participate in ad hoc projects as needed.

Coordinate with various stakeholders within EMEA

Requirements:

BSc/MSc Degree in economics or business administration

Minimum of 5-7 years accounting experience in a multinational company

Big 4 experience is a plus

Good written and verbal English and French or German language skills

Strong time management skills

Good understanding of US GAAP and one or more statutory GAAP in EMEA

Knowledge of SAP, Power-BI, Blackline, OneSource or similar
