As GL Process Expert you will shape a Budapest SSC from scratch, empowered to dive into new structures and aspire to take them to the next level.

Main responsibilities:

Overall responsible for the general ledger process of the countries or operational units in scope

Planning and monitoring the capacity and workload of the GL team

Ensuring KPIs and rules and regulations to be followed by the team

Coaching and motivating team members

Playing an active role in the transition of Accounting processes from European entities to Hungary and actively shape a new SCE in Budapest

Participating and leading projects assigned to the role (incl. Process optimization)

Being involved in day-to-day operations and participate in the periodical closing processes

Ensuring KPIs and rules and regulations to be followed by the team.

Participating actively during internal and external audits.

Required skills:

5 years of experience in GL OR 1 year experience in GL SME role AND 3 years of GL experience

College or University degree (preferably in Economics or Finance with major in accounting or equivalent qualification)

Advanced English

Very good understanding of the GL processes

Solid SAP knowledge

Experience with process improvement / automation projects

Advantages:
