About the jobThe purpose of the Global Finance Process Expert role is to design effective and efficient core model processes, drive effective process & digital solution implementation, manage any deviations, and alignment within the other members of the GPO team & relevant neighboring functions.
As a Global Process Expert, y
ou will be the gatekeeper for your own domain, working closely together with the other Global Process Lead & Regional/Hub Continuous Improvement Leads. The
Global Finance Process Expert – Postings / Allocations reports to the Global Process Lead – Transversal Controlling and works closely with other Finance departments &
neighboring
functions.
You will have a key role in:Ensuring consistent adoption of optimized processes, implemented across all
regionsContinuously improving process efficiency, promoting best practices and performance mindset, fostering user experience, and enhancing complianceL
eading core model implementation and change management, notably in bundling activities in regional
hubsDrive efficiency through automation,
leveraging
new digital
technologiesDelivering global projects in his/her functional area, aiming at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of processesOverseeing the process performance across the different geographies and providing input into how it can be further
improvedOverseeing the portfolio of continuous improvement initiatives managed in the different regions & global delivery
center
sIn building a strong and efficient relationship and communication with all process stakeholders
Main responsibilities:Process Ownership: Manage key Controlling processes, including PO & non-PO OPEX accruals, allocations, and CAPEX accruals. Continuous Improvement: Lead process enhancements, internal controls, and automation initiatives. Training & Compliance: Maintain training materials and ensure processes align with internal control and compliance standards. Core Model Governance: Review and document process levels, manage exceptions, and implement best practices. Innovation & Technology: Drive automation and implement relevant technologies to optimize finance operations. Global Projects: Support finance transformation projects, technology rollouts, and cross-functional initiatives. Stakeholder Management: Build relationships across regions, ensuring standardization and alignment with key functions. Process Expertise: Provide guidance to Global Delivery Centers and regional teams, ensuring best practices are shared.
About youExperience:Direct experience in Opex and/or GTN ControllingProven
track record
of implementation of Processes/SystemsLeading process improvement
/agile
projectsDiverse working experience supporting: Commercial, Research & Development, Manufacturing & Supply businesses, and time spent outside Finance FunctionProcess enablement with AI/Machine LearningExperience of working in a Global Business Services environment desirable
Soft skills:Change Leadership & Innovation: Drive adoption of new technologies and ways of working, redefining end-to-end processes with strong analytical skills. Project Execution & Delivery: Ensure effective planning, execution, and issue resolution to keep programs on track. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work effectively across geographies, cultures, and business maturity levels, fostering strong partnerships. Communication & Problem-Solving: Present ideas clearly at all levels, prioritize tasks effectively, and solve complex challenges.
Technical skills:Group Finance Tools such as SHIFT
& TM1Financial Planning & Analysis including Financial Reporting & Master DataProject ManagementData Analysis/Statistical Data Analysis
Language:Fluent English, both verbal and written
Education:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from an accredited College or University.
