Within the Financial Planning and Reporting department our Team provides business partnering support for numerous business units by preparing financial reporting in compliance with IFRS regulations.

Now our Team is looking for a highly skilled financial professional as:

Group Reporting Expert

Location: Budapest, MOL Campus

Scope of the position:

Here, you'll immerse yourself in comprehensive financial processes, playing a crucial part in shaping the company's financial direction and providing group-level financial reports in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will also be taking part in preparing Group-level regulations, handling and resolving specific, complex tasks within the framework of integrated operation.

Your tasks will be:

Provide Accounting & Financial Reporting Advisory: Support transactions (M&A, divestments), implement new accounting standards, and ensure effective financial reporting processes.

Prepare Key Financial Reports: Oversee stock exchange, management, and annual/interim reports for MOL Group.

Lead Complex Closing & Reporting Tasks: Independently manage group-level consolidation and reporting for divisions and business units.

Advise on IFRS in M&A Projects: Develop decision materials focusing on accounting impacts and represent IFRS expertise.

Develop and Coordinate IFRS Policies: Ensure compliance with IFRS and industry standards, while implementing regulatory updates across the group.

We are looking for you if:

You have a University or College degree in finance/economics/business or equivalent,

At least 2 years working experience within IFRS riporting,

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,

Strong stakeholder skills,

Broader financial skills in addition to accounting knowledge,

Analytical thinking,

Proactivity with a problem solving mindset.

Advantages:
