International Key Account Manager
Rábalux is a manufacturer and B2B marketer of home lighting products, a leading player in residential/consumer lighting industry in Central and Eastern Europe, with over 30 years of experience. Headquartered in Győr, Hungary, the firm’s products (>2000 SKU’s) are sold internationally to 9 CE countries with wholly owned sales affiliates and are exported to 15 additional countries. The firm ensures reliable product supply and exceptional service through local sales staff in the 9 affiliate countries and stable logistics base and sales support functions at the HQ. The company continuously expands its selection of energy-efficient and smart products every year. , The International Key Account Manager CE position reports directly to the International Sales and Marketing Director, while it manages and mentors all local National Key Account colleagues in the affiliate countries (HU, CZ, RO, PL, SK, CRO, SRB, BG, UA) in a matrix structure.
The International KAM’s primary responsibility is to manage and supervise sales activities related to retail chains (DIY’s, furniture chains) in the CE region to achieve the planned revenue and margin targets. This includes cooperating with existing distributor partners, acquiring new ones, frequent travel to CE markets, constant communication with partners and co-workers.
- Leading and supporting sales activities to retail chains (both farming and hunting) internationally
- Creating and managing initiatives, processes, and systems to achieve annual sales and margin plans
- Developing and reviewing general terms and conditions, supporting annual negotiations, and aligning prices and assortments across CE countries
- Driving KAM activities (e. g. annual promotion plans, forecasts) in the CE countries
- Compiling sales reports, maintaining traffic tables, and analysing reports and forecast
- Monitoring sales data, analysing plan-actual data, making necessary corrections, and providing continuous feedback to affiliate countries in the CE region
- Coordinating the sales plans of the company group, conducting market research, and analysing market data and competitors
- Working closely with central functions (marketing, purchasing, stock management, product development) as well as with affiliate Managing Directors and local KAM’s
- You have a higher degree preferably in commerce/business/economics
- You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, having worked in sales / sales management or channel management (in consumer goods industry)
- You have worked on international markets, preferably in Central Europe
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on sales attitude, always close to clients
- You are a good negotiator and communicate well on all hierarchical levels
- You speak English and Hungarian fluently. German and any further European language are considered an advantage
- You possess strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive and flexible personality
- You are confident, customer-focused, and have an analytical mindset (=> you are an advanced Excel user)
- You are independent in your work and capable of making decisions
- You are a proactive individual with strong initiative, capable of rallying a team to address and resolve business challenges effectively
- You have a valid driving licence and are ready to travel frequently
