The Hungarian subsidiary, CooperVision CL Kft. , was founded in Gyál in 2005 and employs more than 1, 500 workers. We are currently looking for a colleague for Lead Lean Engineer position. ,

•  Leads, develops LEAN and Continuous Improvement (CI) capabilities, work processes (e. g. : 5S, SMED, Autonomous Maintenance, etc. ) across the functional area with proper change management plans.
• Creates and deploys the LEAN strategy of Hungarian Packaging Site and ensuring alignment with key stakeholders Site Leadership, Global Operational Excellence functions through the communication of the HU Packaging CI Vision. Contributes to the Global Operational Excellence Strategy development.
• Manages improvement/compliance projects with full P&A and reporting responsibility, and actively coaches the project teams in LEAN project management routines.
• Supports the projects of Department Managers and SME’s with active participation and methodological support.
• Owns and improves the project masterplan, loss elimination masterplan and meeting structure of the Packaging Site.
• Maps and keeps updated the key processes of the Budapest Packaging Site’s operations. Assess current state and works out/design improvement proposals. Updates the process descriptions and other documents (SOP’S, WI’s, etc. )
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPI’s) in order to monitor the effectiveness of LEAN tools
• Conduct regular LEAN assessments and audits.
• Educates and coaches stakeholders and employee groups on CI / Lean ways or working.

• Min. Bachelor’s degree, or any equivalent work experience.
• Fluent English knowledge (B2) both written and verbal.
• Massive proven background in LEAN and Operations
• Minimum 4 years of experience in LEAN and in LEAN Manufacturing environment.
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
• Have a systematic approach to problem solving
• Have good communication skills and be able to establish and maintain effective contact with company personnel, supplier and contractors
