Logistics Specialist
CAE is a software and information driven trading platform for the world’s secondary capital asset markets. CAE seeks to enter illiquid, often non-functional markets, and build internally efficient matching platforms through aggregating supply, demand, and counterparty pricing and behavioral data. CAE seeks to utilize that information to capture pricing differentials in its arbitrage transactions and make direct investments when assets can be priced below its assessment of fair market value. CAE is seeking driven and capable professionals interested in contributing to the development of new markets and developing into leaders within its organization over time. , As a Logistics Specialist, you will be an integral member of a goal-oriented team that has created the leading worldwide marketplace for secondary capital equipment. This is an onsite position at our Budapest office with high visibility into all departments at CAE, and requires that you work closely with our clients and internal trading team. This person will actively manage each transaction after the point of sale, by implementing a safe and cost effective method to transport the asset(s) from source to buyer, while focusing on account management, mitigating potential risk, and protecting the company’s interests.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, schedule, and track shipments of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and other high technology equipment across a multitude of trade lanes alongside our dedicated vendor network
- Interface with clients primarily over the phone and within emails
- Manage the client’s expectations concerning delivery time in regards to asset availability, carrier scheduling, and transit time by providing status updates
- Control all communication between shipping and receiving parties, as well as third party vendors
- Create shipping documents in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations
- Maintain compliance in US Imports, Exports, & Foreign Trades
- Perform ad hoc projects as needed by Management
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in international logistics with a focus on sea freight is required
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Hungarian is a must
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of interdepartmental communication
- Must be comfortable working with international clients and speaking with them on the phone frequently
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Logic minded individual who excels at problem solving
- Base Salary: Up to gross 800. 000 HUF, plus a performance-based year-end bonus
