Manager of tourism and hospitality
The estate is owned by the historic Count Degenfeld family who cultivates and grows the estate since the early 90’s as part of their multigenerational identity. The family has a history of Tokaj winemaking dating back before the 18th century.
We are creating award winning Tokaj wines in a beautiful winery. We provide hospitality on the same location in historic castle where we also offer event location and accommodation. We are aiming to become a major touristic attraction with the help of our restaurant, hilltop chapel, outdoor wellness, walking paths among the vineyards and sustainable gardens where we grow our own food, spices and flowers. We wish to work with someone who shares our message about the love of nature, community, cooperation and optimistic future.
We are looking for someone, to manage the diverse tourism in our Estate.
The chosen candidate will be part of a skilled, motivated team (Chef, Manager of the restaurant, events, hotel front office manager, park staff) full with ideas and will to help. He will present and execute wine touristic programs benefiting from the countless opportunities our facilities and capabilities have to offer. We are looking for a well-organized, autonomous manager who approaches guests and visitors with confidence and who is able to learn and communicate sustainable living and the historical heritage the team stands for.
, The ideal candidate:
- Confident on at least one of these fields: wine tourism, gastro tourism, Event tourism, eco tourism
- Relevant work experience with references.
- Should fit in a young, energetic team.
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills in Hungarian and English. Other languages are a plus of course.
- Confident on the event management (touristic, wedding, business)
- Relevant university degree is a plus in tourism, hospitality, management or other related field.
