Mechanical Procurement Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily procurement tasks
- Collaborate with the central logistics and procurement department in Germany
- Assess and monitor material needs and inventory levels, plan and optimize stocks in coordination with suppliers and production planners
- Manage the entire ordering process
- Maintain relationships with suppliers
- Handle and coordinate complaints with suppliers
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels
- Conduct market research and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare reports
Requirements:
- Higher education in economics and/or engineering is an advantage
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience in procurement
- Proficient in German or English (German preferred)
- User-level knowledge of Word, Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills, confident and decisive demeanor, problem-solving skills
- Flexibility, accuracy, and precision in work
