Mechanical Procurement Specialist
Responsibilities:
Perform daily procurement tasks
Collaborate with the central logistics and procurement department in Germany
Assess and monitor material needs and inventory levels, plan and optimize stocks in coordination with suppliers and production planners
Manage the entire ordering process
Maintain relationships with suppliers
Handle and coordinate complaints with suppliers
Monitor and optimize inventory levels
Conduct market research and identify cost-saving opportunities
Prepare reports
Requirements:
Higher education in economics and/or engineering is an advantage
Minimum 2 years of practical experience in procurement
Proficient in German or English (German preferred)
User-level knowledge of Word, Excel, and ERP systems
Strong communication and organizational skills, confident and decisive demeanor, problem-solving skills
Flexibility, accuracy, and precision in work
