About the Role
We are looking to hire an experienced and passionate Medior Data Consultant to join Digital Factory. The new team member is part of our digital engineering team, and the focus of this role is on ensuring that the data platform is aligned with business goals, translating requirements into actionable insights, and driving the successful adoption of data and reporting capabilities across the organization.
Main Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and data requirements.
Translate business goals into data requirements, KPIs, and user stories.
Identify and document data use cases for analytics, reporting, and BI solutions.
Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and insights.
Ensure data quality through validation, mapping, and collaboration with data engineering teams.
Act as the liaison between business users and technical teams.
Define and validate data models for reporting and analytics.
Define reporting metrics, KPIs, and data visualization requirements for BI tools.
Assist in prototyping and validating dashboards.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate data solutions.
Identify and resolve gaps or issues during testing.
Support project timelines, deliverables, and progress tracking.
Assist with change management for new data capabilities.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards.
Collaborate on access control and regulatory requirements.
Develop and deliver training materials for end-users.
Maintain documentation of data processes, models, and rules.
Provide ad-hoc analysis to support decision.
About Your Experience and Skills
Education
University or college degree with specialization in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent
Experience
3-5 years of experience in Data analytics, system design and systems development.
Must have enterprise level experience as Business Analyst/Consultant.
Experience with data transformation tools and technologies (e. g. , Spark, Kafka, Azure Data Factory).
Minimum 1 years of experience in working in an agile environment across multiple projects Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
Retail IT domain background is a plus.
Professional and Technical Competencies
Requirements gathering, use case documentation, business analysis, systems design, and integration.
Experience in data analysis, conversion, migration, interfaces, and reports.
Familiarity with gap analysis and blueprint development.
Experience with system design using configuration and/or customization.
Practical experience generating process documentation and reports.
SQL Expertise: A good foundation in SQL (Structured Query Language) is a plus. This includes experience with writing queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data in both Databricks and SQL Server.
Ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
System integration concepts.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data governance principles.
Familiarity with data security best practices and compliance regulations (e. g. , GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.
T-SQL and Python is a plus.
Salesforce.com /core and CRM system knowledge is a plus.
Sparx EA tool experience is a plus.
Professional usage of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence.

Main Recruitment Steps
Initial call: You will be contacted by MOL Recruitment via phone for a short chat.
Interview: You can expect two or a maximum of three interview rounds, where you can meet your direct manager, some experts from the team, ask your questions and present your skills and career path. We always make sure you receive timely feedback after each round.
Technical Assessment: You will either receive a take-home assignment after the first interview or be asked to solve an exercise on the spot at one of the interviews.
