WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS ROLE

Be part of MOL Group’s Dowstream transformation from a traditional oil and chemical company to a sustainable energy supplier and chemicals producer! Join our Natural Gas & Power Supply & Trading team, where you will gain hands-on experience in energy trading operations while supporting key strategic projects aligned with MOL Group 2030+ strategy. You will collaborate with multiple teams to optimize energy supply and sales processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and maximizing captured margins.

Your responsibilities will include: Market Analysis & Deal Support: Assisting in short- and long-term market analysis, deal validation, and reporting to ensure smooth trading operations. Contract & Compliance Coordination: Supporting contract preparation, internal approvals, and regulatory reporting (MEKH, REMIT, EMIR). Credit & Risk Management: Assisting in managing credit requirements, ensuring deal integrity, and maintaining compliance with risk management strategies. Reporting & Accounting: Preparing daily and monthly reconciliation reports, invoice verification, and supporting financial processes in SAP and NAVISION. Renewable Energy & Sustainability Projects: Contributing to biogas, hydrogen, and renewable energy-related projects within MOL’s evolving energy portfolio.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOUR BACKGROUND: Your Background: A fresh graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or engineering, eager to dive into the energy sector. Your Personality: Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a commercial approach to problem-solving Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with different teams to achieve common goals Language Skills: Fluent in Hungarian and English; any additional language is a plus! Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with SAP, NAVISION, or ETRM systems is an advantage! Bonus: A basic understanding of natural gas and power markets, logistics, infrastructure, and refinery economics is preferred but not required
