Robinson is seeking a Ocean Forwarding Agent to oversee and optimize the shipment lifecycle for complex and strategic ocean freight accounts. In this key role, you’ll be the primary contact and subject matter expert, ensuring customer needs are met while delivering seamless and efficient ocean freight solutions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage the shipment lifecycle for ocean freight, ensuring compliance with customer SOPs and accurate data in Navisphere
• Provide complex ocean freight quotes, coach others on pricing strategies, and ensure accurate financial components for billing
• Collaborate cross-functionally, build strong customer relationships, and act as a subject matter expert in ocean freight operations
• Coordinate all aspects of ocean freight shipments, including bookings, pre-alerts, governmental filings, and delivery execution
• Resolve challenges creatively by leveraging industry knowledge and critical thinking to optimize processes and solutions
• Lead by example in customer outreach, retention, and expansion, focusing on ocean logistics services
• Monitor ocean freight trends and provide actionable insights to improve customer and operational outcomes
• Support Sales Executives and Account Managers with ocean-specific customer reporting and process improvements

• +2 years of professional experience in Ocean Freight Forwarding
• Fluency in English and Hungarian

• Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
• Proven track record of strong customer service skills, interacting with customers and being client-focused
• Excellent follow-up with customers and the network
• Critical-thinking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills to adapt to ever-changing tasks and customer needs
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
