The main purpose of this role is to control and ensure material/part availability (stock reach) of purchased parts with simultaneous optimized inventory management. Responsible for operational purchasing activities ensuring proper dates and quantities from supplier to warehouse including order confirmations. Responsible for the prioritization of material deliveries, considering the demand situation.
- Performing the tasks of operational purchasing for the location/region
- Obtaining order confirmations, avoiding delivery delays and eliminating bottlenecks
- Maintaining material master data in SAP to optimise order size in terms of cost, availability, range and stock turnover
- Ensuring that suppliers maintain stocks against the forecast (Kanban stock) to enable their availability taking into account technical changes
- Ensuring that the supplier delivers according to an optimal supply system/logistics model
- Analysing supplier performance in relation to logistics criteria and implementation of corrective measures in case of deviation from the target
- Analysing and processing of purchase requisitions, delivery schedules, etc. and their professional processing / application
- Invoice verification / clarification of price, quantity discrepancies
- Ensuring intensive communication and coordination with relevant internal & external stakeholders

- University/College degree
- Advanced level of English is a must, German can be an advantage
- At least 2-3 years experiences in SMT industry in similar or adjacent positions
- Confident user of MS Office
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Strong communication skills with internal, external partners
- Team spirit, proactive, hands-on, “can-do” attitude
