Operative Purchasing Team Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operative Purchasing Team Lead to join our team in Kecskemét. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 4 Project Buyers and 3 Operational Buyers, ensuring efficient and effective procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals.

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials.

Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.

Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus. Hungarian is required also fluently.
