Product Packaging Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a Packaging Engineer for our Debrecen location! Join our global engineering team to implement protective product packaging for new product launches.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test packaging for electronic equipment, optimizing protection, cost, environmental impact, and customer experience.

Create packaging drawings and detailed specifications.

Collaborate with a multi-functional team for product launches.

Support packaging manufacturing processes.

Interact with suppliers and support quality initiatives.

Manage projects effectively.

You excel in providing timely and useful information, exceeding goals, and delivering customer-focused solutions. You are motivated, a problem-solver, and a team player, capable of managing multiple projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with CAD design (ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, Creo).

Strong presentation skills.

Proficiency in English and Hungarian.

Project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of corrugated board and foam design.

Experience with packaging performance testing and wooden crate design.

Experience working with suppliers and reducing packaging costs.
