Group Procurement Catalog Manager
Purpose of the Position:
The Group Procurement Catalog Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and optimization of MOL Group's Ariba catalog usage. This role ensures that all catalog content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with MOL Group’s procurement strategies and policies. The Group Procurement Catalog Manager collaborates closely with suppliers, internal procurement teams, and stakeholders to optimize the catalog environment for efficient purchasing and cost control, while also enhancing the user experience for internal users.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead catalog optimization efforts and support catalog initiatives.
Drive and organize campaigns to increase the number of catalogs and promote their usage.
Continuously monitor procurement plans and identify potential new catalog candidates.
Support procurement in enabling catalogs, including buying channel selection, catalog enablement, and content and quality criteria.
Act as an internal consultant, providing support to sourcing buyers to ensure suppliers provide accurate and up-to-date product data and images.
Facilitate the resolution of catalog-related issues such as pricing discrepancies, incorrect item listings, or stock concerns.
Support the Ariba catalog creation, maintenance, and updating process in cooperation with the Master Data Management Catalog Manager.
Manage template/configuration changes as required and resolve complex issues escalated by L1 Ariba support.
Ensure all catalog data complies with internal procurement standards and business requirements.
Perform regular audits to maintain catalog accuracy and proactively resolve issues.
Partner with IT and/or SAP Ariba to troubleshoot Ariba catalog integration and update-related issues.
Stay updated on Ariba software upgrades and new functionalities.
Requirements:
University (MA/MSc) / College (BA/BSc) in Economics, Engineering, or IT.
Thorough understanding of procurement and data management processes and systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
at least 2 years of experience in catalog management, e-commerce, or product information management (PIM).
English (C1 – fluent); local language knowledge is preferred.
Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP Ariba, Integrated E2E procurement IT solutions, Product information management, catalog management solutions/applications
