PROCUREMENT EXPERT

 in Tiszaújváros

The Company operates an advanced and highly competitive synthetic rubber (S-SBR) plant in Tiszaújváros with 60, 000 tons per annum capacity. S-SBR (solution polymerization styrene-butadiene rubber) is presently one of the best quality feedstock for producing rubber tires with very good adhesion properties, and with lower motor fuel need.

• Provides high-quality and flexible procurement services within his scope of responsibilities in the energy/material/equipment/service procurement categories to business and functional units of the in-company client. Complete and professional supervision of the procurement process.
• Monitors, analyses and consolidates procurement needs within his scope of responsibilities arising in the energy/material/equipment/service procurement categories, market behaviour and market trends, assesses and analyses the potential risk factors.
• Participates in the formulation of procurement strategy and in their implementation in accordance with procurement guidelines. Prepares a short-term and medium-term procurement plan for energy/material/equipment and services procurement in his scope of responsibilities, based on procurement expenditure, prospected procurement needs and market information, in accordance with the prevailing corporate strategy and procurement strategy.
• Manages communication with suppliers as well as with business and functional units of the in-company client with respect to energy/material/equipment and services procurement in his scope of responsibilities. Ensures efficient change management.   Prepares and continuously follows the annual procurement plan. Supervises the results of the “Vendor Management” system evaluation and incorporates them in the evaluation criteria system.
• Manages the tendering, evaluation and selection procedures related to energy/material/equipment and services procurement in his scope of responsibilities. As the leader of the evaluation committee, he ensures high level of expertise and fair execution of tendering and selection procedures. During price negotiations with suppliers, he represents the interests of the company and makes responsible decisions in order to reach the best arrangements.
• Manages contracting procedures, leads contract negotiations. Takes responsibility for the technical content of the prepared contracts, and ensures compliance with the prevailing financial and legal regulations. Monitors the performance and execution of contracts related to energy/material/equipment and services procurement in his scope of responsibilities, and coordinates the claim management process.
• Monitors and checks the market prices related to energy/material/equipment and services procurement in his scope of responsibilities.
• Makes relevant decisions at the decision-making stages of the procurement process within their determined budget.
• Represents his speciality field in the relevant projects and initiates efficiency-enhancing measures in his field of expertise. Submits and analyses statistics related to procurement areas under his supervision, in particular the Key Performance Indicators and other decisive indices related to procurement activities.

• You have university Economic degree
• 3-5 years relevant working experience
• Preferably experience in Energy and/or Chemical procurement
• Preferably experience in contracting (contract preparation, negotiation)
• Highly motivated, multitasking, solid coordination skills
• Ability to work in team and under pressure
