You are workingtogether with your direct colleagues and other departments on introducing newmanufacturing processes and improving existing processes related to transformermanufacturing. This could be a quick response to a recent problem, issuing asimpler work instruction, or specifying and procuring new high-valuemanufacturing equipment.
HowYou’ll Make an Impact
● Technical responsible for the dedicatedmanufacturing process
● Daily technical support of manufacturing
● Create, maintain procedures, instructions
● Lead / support NPI projects
● Collect, analyze data from manufacturing anddevelop the processes
● Define SC/CC characteristics
● Compile, analyze, report and react to costs ofpoor quality
● Be a member of Process – and Design FMEA team
● Support internal process audits
● Support Customer audits
● Support Customer PPAP submission activities
What You Bring
● At least 3 years of experience in engineering /manufacturing
● Engineer (electrical, mechanical) -/ technicaldegree (technical college or university)
● Ability to cooperate with other departments (Engineering, Production, Quality, EHS, Sales, Purchasing)
● Comprehensive understanding of manufacturingprocesses
● Knowledge about distribution transformers is anadvantage
● Experience with the 5core tools (8D, 5Why, APQP, PPAP, FMEA) is an advantage
● Experience with lean tools&methods is anadvantage
● Fluent English both verbal and written
● Flexibility to international travels, mostly inEurope (5%)
● Comprehensive computer skills (MS Office; ERPhandling – SAP knowledge is an advantage)
● Good communication skills
About the Team
The team is dynamic group of 18engineers, forming PD&T (Production Development & Technology)department. Our activities are part of a value-added process within theengineering process. The demands from our customers are incorporated into thedesign of our products, and the PD&T department provides the necessarytechnology for their production. This includes the development and monitoringof machines, tools, auxiliary equipment, and the associated manufacturingprocesses. Our activities also include the verification and validation of productiontechnologies. Additionally, we implement continuous improvement based on datafrom monitoring and requests from other departments, like PROD, EHS, EQS.
