About the job:
Digital Delivery and Operations (DD&O) supports various organizations at Sanofi: Business Operations, Finance, People and Culture, Legal, Procurement, Corporate Affairs, Corporate Security, … To create value for these organizations and Sanofi, we deliver over 60 projects/products every year. Program Delivery Excellence Lead position in Program Delivery CoE is created to improve monitoring of the portfolio and optimize delivery process and governance.
Main responsibilities
Delivery Excellence
- Own Delivery Operating Model and artefacts for the Program Delivery
- Lead continuous Improvement for Delivery: propose, implement and monitor improvements for the delivery area
- Define and follow-up on delivery quality monitoring
- Be champion and change agent for Initiatives related to Delivery processes
- Support Program Delivery Governance
- Communicate portfolio health status to DD&O leadership team
Portfolio Management
- Consolidate DD&O Portfolio of Projects (Strategic Projects / Operational Projects)
- Work closely with Head of Operations and Finance counterparts for financial alignment (process and data)
- Follow up finance planning, landing and actuals (and track inconsistencies if needed)
- Co-lead the Project Manager and Scrum Masters (PMs/SMs) staffing process and co-animate the staffing meeting
- Provide regular and ad hoc reporting on budget and project health / organize follow up points for Product Lines Head /Product Line Managers / Program Leaders
- Collaborate with DD&O Leadership team on Portfolio management and Delivery excellence
Sourcing
- Ensure and support appropriate onboarding of external PMs/SMs
- Propose and implement new approaches to improve the quality and costs of external PMs
Support on Tools: support Program Delivery team on various Sanofi tools to ensure the appropriate data quality and process follow up (eg: SN PPM, P+, ERPs, eBuy, Flexts, PowerBI)
About you:
Education: Master degree in Computer Science or Business
Experience
- Experience of working in a Global organization with multi-cultural dimension and distributed teams
- 2+ years as Program Manager, PMO, Governance Lead, or Finance Controller
- Experience of working in a transversal environment with many stakeholders with different levels of expectations
- Experience of working in or with a digital/IT organization is a plus
- Experience in managing external resources, including sourcing process
Skills and competencies
- Comfortable with technology in general and professional experience with tools and processes: Office applications, ERP platforms ( e. g. SAP), Portfolio management tools (ServiceNow, Jira)
- Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English (written and oral)
- Proactivity / Capacity to take initiatives and challenge the status quo
- Analytic skills and problem-solving mindset
- Hands-on, service and collaboration orientation
- Curious and continuous improvement appetite
