Receivable Management Accountant
Our international real estate development and investment partner is looking for a Management Accountant to join their Financial Admininstration team. If you have some experience in real estate and finance and looking for a change to a more rewarding job, we welcome your application!
Main responsibilities:In this role as a member of the financial administration team you are responsible mainly for whole receivable cycle and cooperation with Bookkeepers.
Financial administrative tasks:
Being familiar with Company Polices, especially Debt collection policy and acts accordingly.
Keeping records of tenant guarantees (submission, expiry, amount, etc. ).
Keeping records of the tenants’ security deposits (amount, deadline, interest).
Invoicing, collection of rents and other charges due from tenants.
Calculating Late payment penalties.
Establishment and maintenance of tenant data, monitoring data changes on the basis of corporate documents.
Preparing and sending tenant payment notices and account statements.
Maintenance of the tenants’ current accounts and checking them with tenants.
Checking the invoicing and payments according to the Lease Agreements and Supplier Contracts, checking indexation.
Collecting and keeping records of tenant’s monthly turnover data.
Personal interactions:
Contacting regularly the Tenants especially those who have overdue debts. Keeping record, preparing reports about performed calls/contacts.
General liaison with the tenants and attendance at regular meetings.
Cooperating with property managers in preparing an annual service charge budget.
Cooperating with property managers in year-end service charge reconciliations and charge-out to tenants.
Managing outstanding receivables:
Monitoring and collecting the tenant debts.
Coordinating collection related meeting with tenants.
Initiating action for recovery of any arrears in conjunction with GTC’s in-house lawyer.
Required skills:To be succesful in your role:
Minimum 1 - 2 years professional experience on similar position (preferably RE sector)
College/University degree
Fluent in written and spoken English, Hungarian mother tongue
Word, Excel, and Powerpoint & spreadsheet document construction
