WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS ROLE

Join our R&D team and gain hands-on experience in research and development projects while contributing to innovation and advancement in MOL Group’s fuels, plastics, renewable products, polyols, and black product portfolios.

During the program, you will: Gain a comprehensive overview of the Group-level R&D organization, including Polyols, Refinery, and Polymer R&D units, and understand their role within MOL. Conduct experiments & operate lab equipment, working closely with experienced engineers in various research domains. Analyze results & contribute to reporting, helping to translate laboratory findings into real-world applications. Support innovation & product development, actively participating in projects aimed at improving sustainability and efficiency in MOL’s product portfolio. Assist in strategic decision-making, contributing to business model creation, project planning, and market evaluations

All of this in a dynamic, research-driven environment where you will rotate between expert teams and laboratories, gaining practical experience and deep industry knowledge!

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Your Background: A fresh graduate with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Process Technology with a passion for research and innovation. Your Personality: You are curious, analytical, and proactive with a strong problem-solving mindset. You thrive in a dynamic, research-focused environment and enjoy tackling challenges independently while collaborating with experts. Team Player: You believe in the power of teamwork and are eager to learn from experienced professionals while bringing your own fresh ideas to the table. Language Skills: You have at least B2-level English, while knowledge of Hungarian or other languages is an advantage. Tech Savvy: You are comfortable with MS Office at a user level, and knowledge of MS Project or data analysis tools is a plus! Mobility: You have a Category B driver’s license and you are open to traveling internationally to MOL Group’s R&D sites as part of your development.
