We seek for a

RESERVOIR ENGINEER

specializing in reservoir development who has a broad understanding of reservoir engineering tools and capable of operating as a front-end among subsurface disciplines. Drives the subsurface related tasks, identifies and delivers field development proposals (infill drilling, production optimization), compile field development plans.

Key responsibilities:

Carries out reservoir engineering studies using appropriate, state-of-the-art techniques including reservoir simulation, material balance, decline curve analysis.

Works independently, delivers reservoir studies, production history analysis, production and/or pressure forecasts for active and idle fields/reservoirs/wells.

Delivering proposals as infill wells, WWO-candidates and other interventions resulting in incremental or accelerated production.

Performs documentation as per requirements of field development plans, resource/reserve reports, internal review materials.

Coordinates, and represents technical work related to field development projects and tasks.

Requirements:

Petroleum engineer qualification

Have 5 years of practical experience in reservoir engineering.

Active knowledge and user experience with reservoir engineering software as tNavigator or Eclipse, OFM, Petex Mbal and Prosper.

Familiar with SPE-PRMS.

Performs documentation as per requirements of field development plans, resource/reserve reports, internal review materials.

Able to coordinate, and represent technical work related to field development projects and tasks.

Confident communication level in English both in oral and written form.

Confident use of MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Being a team player, actively communicating within- and cross-department, driving common understanding.

Advantages:

Hungarian language is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Experience in Enhanced Oil Recovery/Enhanced Gas Recovery.

Experience/knowledge in other disciplines (e. g. : well completions/well stimulation/surface facilities/artificial lift systems).

Willing to coordinate small study teams.
