We are looking for a Residential Director colleague for our multinational real estate developer partner in Budapest.
Your new role
The Residential Director will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of residential development in Hungary. This includes overseeing project conception, design, execution, and sales while ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives. The role requires a strong understanding of local and International market trends, regulatory frameworks, and innovative real estate solutions.
- Leads and manages the residential sales, commercial, and technical teams, including Project Managers.
- Defines and implements the commercial and marketing strategy for residential projects or mixed-use projects with major residential components.
- Oversees the marketing and sale or lease of residential units, either individually or through block sales, or agency instructions, in line with the agreed strategy
- Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, banks, public authorities, and partners.
- Ensures project execution aligns with company objectives, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Reports regularly to the Country Director on project progress, financial performance, and market dynamics.
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive experience in real estate development, with a strong knowledge on residential projects.
- Ideally at least 6-10 years of experience within a residential developer
- In-depth knowledge of the Hungarian real estate market and regulatory environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Fluency in English
