Sales Operations Analyst – Coverage

As a Coverage Analyst, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining sales territories within our systems. These territories may be defined based on geographical regions, accounts, or other criteria. You will ensure the accuracy of this data, which feeds into key downstream processes, including sales compensation. You will also work closely with the sales team and other stakeholders to address new requests, troubleshoot issues, and manage sales credit splits and other data-related processes.
,- Territory Management: Create, update, and maintain sales territories in company systems. Ensure territories are accurately defined based on geographical, account-based, or other qualifiers.
- Data Accuracy: Ensure all territory data is precise and complete, as it feeds into downstream processes, including sales compensation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams, finance, and other stakeholders to address new requests and troubleshoot territory-related issues.
- Sales Credit Splits: Administer sales credit splits, ensuring proper allocation of sales credits among multiple sellers.
- Process Improvement: Continuously look for ways to improve processes related to territory management and sales credit administration.
- System Knowledge: Maintain a working knowledge of sales systems, including Salesforce (SFDC), to support territory and compensation management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Analyst role.
- Strong Excel skills with a demonstrated ability to perform complex data analysis.
- Experience with Tableau or other BI tools is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) or other CRM systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in data management.
- Strong English communication skills, with the ability to work with international stakeholders across different time zones.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand and navigate complex systems.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in global or multi-regional sales organizations.
- Knowledge of sales compensation processes and best practices is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
